About the Author: Laurel Lippert Fox, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist currently in private practice in the Los Angeles area. She has counseled students at the University of Denver, The University of Texas at Austin, Southwestern University, Loyola Marymount University, and the University of California - Los Angeles. Laurel was a Resident Assistant and a Residence Hall Coordinator during her undergraduate years at Northwestern University.
